Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What does TCRCAT stand for?

A. TCRCAT stands for “Total Construction & Renovation Catastrophic”. Catastrophic refers to storms, fires, floods, and other disasters that require restoration services.

Q. Which services are offered 24/7?

A. We offer the following services 24/7: storm damage restoration, water/flood damage restoration, and fire damage restoration. If you are in need of one of those three services, then all of our other services (mold remediation, renovation, etc.) are also offered at that time, 24/7.

Q. I am in need of emergency restoration services. How long does it typically take you to arrive to the scene?

A. The amount of time it takes will vary, depending on your specific situation, as well as your physical location. We always try our best to arrive as soon as we possibly can and typically arrive within one hour.

Q. Do you offer price matching?

A. I’m afraid we do not offer price matching at this time, but our prices always remain competitive.

Q. Which insurance companies do you work with?

A. We work with most insurance companies and will work hard to help get the claim processed. If we can’t work with your insurance company, then we’ll let you know up-front, before any work is performed. Contact us before filing a claim, and we can discuss options with you.

Q:  My insurance company has a “preferred vendor” program. Do I have to use the companies they recommend?

A:  No. Since you are the property owner, you have the right to hire the company or contractor of your choice, even if your insurance carrier has a preferred vendor program.

Q:  What if my insurance policy will not pay for the total cost of repair?

A:  Unfortunately, some policies do not cover the total cost of repair.  In such a case, Total Construction & Renovation will work with you to discuss your payment options.

Q. I’m not 100% sure that I am in need of your services. Do you offer a free consultation or a free estimate?

A. Yes, we absolutely do. Don’t wait, contact us today to get started!
